Joshua Summers is a commercial real estate attorney and operator with more than twenty years of experience across every position at the table — as outside counsel, as in-house general counsel, as an operator, and now as a principal.

He built his career handling complex commercial transactions, workouts, and distressed situations for institutional clients including REITs, hedge funds, developers, and high-net-worth individuals across the tri-state region and nationally. As EVP and General Counsel at a regional development firm, he led legal and operational strategy across a multi-asset commercial portfolio.

Prime 79 Group is the culmination of that experience: a platform built to move at the speed of a principal, structured with the precision of a senior attorney, and operated with the discipline of someone who has managed the assets himself.

Joshua is admitted to the New York bar and federal courts, holds a JD from Cardozo School of Law and a BA cum laude from Yeshiva University, and is based in the New York metro area.
